At DVD Launch Party for "Boned" Movie

Tonight I attended the DVD launch party for the movie Boned at Acting Up Network in Burbank, this wonderful acting school and casting facility owned by my friend Jodie Panek, who is pictured with me on the right.

To the left, I'm huddled with two of the stars of the film, Angela Landis and Humphrey. Angela also teaches a production course at Acting Up Network.

The story behind the DVD launch party of Boned is impressive. Most independent films do not get distribution, but Angela, who also produced the project as well as starred in it, managed to get distribution in all media, including Netflix. I wish her luck and profit with her film. Can't wait to see what else she is able to do. She even baked human cookies in the shape of dog bones for our gift bags.
