A Giant in the Senate Comes to Town

I think this ends my political book buying and book signings for a while. Or at least till I get these read. Today at the Alex Theater, Chelsea Handler interviewed Senator Al Franken, who was here promoting his new book with the hubris title, "Giant in the Senate." Considering that he as a super-delegate voted against the candidate chosen by the voters in his state, I don't consider him a giant in the Senate any more, and I feel like my donations to his campaign have been betrayed. Maybe his book will shed light on this and make me feel better about the future.

What was advertised was that he would be signing the books. Since neither Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders did that, I was pretty skeptical that the book signing would come off. And I was right. We all got pre-signed books.
