Wait, Wait, Don't Kill Me! #2

Does the title sound familiar? Then most likely you are a fan of NPR's famous news quiz, Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me.

Tonight I attended a fundraiser for Voice for the Animals at the Eli and Edythe Broad Stage in Santa Monica, CA. Although it is patterned on NPR's news quiz, this quiz battle had all animal questions and because two of the contestants were comedians were CRAIG FERGUSON and LILY TOMLIN, the evening was hilarious and a lot of fun. The third panelist is JUNE DIANE RAPHAEL who plays daughter Brianna on Grace and Frankie with Lily Tomlin. Questions were tossed out by host PAUL SCHEER. And WHITNEY CUMMINGS kept score.

There were also comical clips done by the hosts of Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me, giving advice on how to do the quiz show correctly. So it was obvious that the NPR show was on board with using their "name" in this way.

Lily Tomlin won the quiz, which I think made everybody happy. So glad I went and I wish my friends had been more responsive to coming as well. They would have enjoyed it.
