Ready to Party -- SAG-AFTRA LA Host Committee

With delight I learned that I had been selected to be on the SAG-AFTRA LA Host Committee. This is the committee that plans the parties our union has for its members. I have volunteered for a few of these events and have always had fun mixing with my fellow actors in ways that most likely wouldn't be possible if I was just being an attendee. On May 26, 2022 I attended my first meeting on Zoom, where we started discussions on what kind of party we can plan on Zoom to brighten our fellow actors' lives. Yes, unfortunately, we are still bound to Zoom. The Union has rightfully not authorized us to do in person events yet. But that doesn't mean we can't have fun.
